Workforce - A toolbox for a working person

The Application should help daily work of e.g. salesmen who constantly have to make travel bills that list e.g. kilometers and other costs and report those to company. These costs can be e.g. car expenses, taxi, train, hotel, lunch, customer meeting costs, and so on. Application should support many different kind of expenses with variable parameters. E.g. Car kilometer reimbursements depend on how many people were in car.

Usually it's a pain to remember all the routes and expenses at the end of the month and this application should make it easier and even fun to fill in the basic details right on the spot.

Target platforms: Android + iOS

Ideas:

• Map-based diary for kilometers and other costs
• All the added information should be stored locally
• Sync data automatically or manually to server
• Edit data on server, print reports and browse your business trips.
• Some kind of communication? 
• Keep it as simple as possible
• Follow platform specific UI guidelines

Integration: Can be integrated to external services over API (JSON/REST), prototype of web server or datastorage would be a big plus (e.g. using Django Framework). API should be documented. Idea is that the application API would be open to all developers so that it could be integrated to any existing ERP there is.
