Social Music Listening through Mood Pictures PART2

Mood pictures: Help users to select and play music using an picture-based visual UI. Pictures are associated with music, a playlist that match the mood of the picture. The music that is played from each picture is broader than just one specific album or genre. This existing platform (v1) offers great opportunity to enhance the social interaction even further and innovate new novel features.

Project goal

• Enhance the current prototype with new features: extend the social features to allow rich social interaction between users, user profiles/accounts, music recommendations. Innovate new cool features!
• Create representative set of pictures for defined moods with associated music. Extend the current set of 5 presets (see picture)
• Integration to a online music catalog as alternative option
• User studies for the new prototype
