A new social title inspired by the classic game Battleships has the potential to be a mass-market cross-platform hit. The team's task is to imagine the game concept and deliver a playable prototype to "prove" that it works.
Key feature for this game prototype would be asynchronic multiplayer (for example Zynga's "with friends" series) and enhancing the core gameplay to make game sessions entertaining (e.g. power-ups). The concept should also include a plan for monetization that fits this particular game and allows for continuous spending through in-app purchases.

- Create a free-to-play social Battleships game concept (theme can be anything!)
- Create a fun(!) game prototype from this concept by enhancing the gameplay (e.g. power-ups)
- Try extending the classic game mechanics to make it more suitable for turn-based play (with potentially long wait times) and increased replay value
- Consider how monetization with in-app-purchases and virality work within the game
- Technology is preferably iOS to simulate the real environment
Required Team Members:
- 2D artist (game and UI)
- iOS programmer(s)
- Game designer / producer
The project should be a fun experience – for your users and for yourself! Be creative and think of ways to include a subtle touch of humor and heart to your product. The more you love your game, the better it will turn out in the end.
