Triple Town is a strategic puzzle game in which the player builds a city by matching three or more game-pieces to turn them into one higher-value item. Initially developed for the Kindle eReader platform, it has been released on Facebook in October 2011. The team’s task is to create a game prototype closely inspired by Triple Town with improved game mechanics and features to make it more suitable for a social platform.
The main focus should be set to enhance the game’s viral channels by enabling interactions between players. The team should also think of ways to motivate players to return to the game every day and thereby increasing the game’s „sticky factor“. An important aspect in engaging users to a game is to appeal to their emotions and provide them with a delightful gameplay experience.
