Bending the Glass Production

The goal of the project is to develop the bended glass oven and laminating processes in quality and efficiency points of view. The processes include a lot of craftwork and depends on the accuracy and perceptiveness of the employees. The goal is to innovate and develop the production methods and possible tools.

Background

Established in 1984, Tambest Glass Solutions is one of the leading total suppliers of building glass products in Europe. We serve our customers flexibly and with high quality, according to their needs. We manufacture all curved and flat safety glasses, depending on the protection need, laminated, tempered or laminated and tempered, and we deliver them, when necessary, including their structures installed in place – according to the turnkey principle. Until further notice, we provide the turnkey service only within Finnish borders. Our annual turnover is around 12 M€ and our factory (with around 80 employees) is located in Forssa. Our main market is architectural glass and most of it goes to Finland. The bended glass market is expanding and this brings the need to be more and more efficient - the Demola project is also set to respond to this need.
