Project goal is to demonstrate off-road navigation application on a laptop/tablet.
Application should support selection of starting location, destination location and optional route points from a map. Used vehicle (with its off-road capabilities) is given as one input to routing algorithm. Routing algorithm should make its decisions based on available terrain info (e.g. open field, swamp, young/old forest) and used vehicle. Naturally the optimal routes in off-road terrain are highly dependent on used vehicle i.e. is the vehicle e.g. a mountain bike or a tank.
