Background and motivation
The project focus is on "context sensing". One of Nokia Research Palo Alto research teams is working on automatic context sensing detecting who is the user, what is the user doing, where is he/she, and with whom. Algorithms processing input from device sensors provide information on: 1) User:gender, social behavior,... 2)Activity:walking, running, still,..., and 3)Environment: car, meeting, office, street,...Currently core engine is implemented for activity sensors and we started looking into specific use case and potential application/service idea for prototyping.
Project goal
We would like to see new idea around use cases. We like to see out of box creative idea from business savvy student teams. Use case (application/service idea) is the deliverable. A few sound use case idea along with customer analysis and eco-system is super. Market/competitive analysis (existing similar application/service) is nice to have.
