Currently we're at a point where we need to decide how to represent/construct the remote controller for the user. Why this decision is important is that it pretty much defines the insides of the application node and the information which is transferred between the service node and application node. Eventhough our system is relatively small and simple it would be nice to get it right on the first time. Rather than changing our minds N times and doing N-1 implementations in vain. Of course it is quite unrealistic to assume that the first version would be the ultimately best solution but the main point is to keep the N as small as possible :)

So instead of rushing ahead we are storming ideas and doing some quick'n'dirty testing on the AN/UI-side. This also serves as a getting to know GTK and Maemo period. So far none of us has had any problems with the dev tools.

Things on the NoTA side are also positive. Support from Nokia's side has been great and currently things a looking (strangely) simple. Although adding robustness to the system will increase the complexity but for now things are on the brigth side.

Project is running as scheduled. Our project plan for the course has been ready for some time and we gave our opening presentation on last weeks friday.
