Course Overview

Join us for the Qt for N8 training and build your Qt application ready to be published in Ovi Store. The course is targeted to developers who are already familiar with Qt and want to gain insight on the newest features on Qt development for mobile devices, especially on the Symbian platform with N8 and other Symbian^3 devices.

Day 1 concentrates on the latest status of Qt in mobile devices and the application engine level support through the Qt Mobility APIs. Porting applications from different mobile platforms is also covered.

Day 2 concentrates on the UI side —how to get that “WOW-effect” for your touch UI devices? Also, we take a deeper introduction to QtQuick, the new User Interface Creation Kit in Qt.
