I’m not studying in any of the study programs listed, what to do?
- Don’t worry about it. Contact Demola facilitator for more information about credit points and options available for you.

I have applied for the Demola course in my faculty, is this enough?
-No. You also need to make a profile and apply for the project you want to join on Demola’s webpage. www.demola.fi.

I have applied for the Demola project, is this enough to get credit points?
-No. You also need to make sure if you have to register to a course in your university.

My friend wants to join my team too, but (s)he is studying in different faculty, what to do?

-Ask your friend to contact his / hers teacher listed on Demola’s webpage, and write in your application you want to work with your friend.

I have started working in a project and I still don’t have access to Demola premises, what gives?
-Your facilitator has probably forgot to add you in the system, go yank his sleeve and ask that lazy good-for-nothing to do his job!

I don’t want any credit points I just want to participate in the project. Is this possible?
- Yes it is. You just have to apply for a project. Your team might still be obliged to provide documentation needed for the credit points.

I drank some coffee in Demola and now my insides hurt, is this bad?
-It takes approximately 3-4 Demola projects to get your system used to the motor oil we also like to call coffee. If you start to see red spots go see a doctor.

What are the requirements for me to get credit points from the project I’m working on?

-The requirements are determined by your University and the course description you applied on. The Demola has for you is writing a project plan, weekly blog and final report and of course active participation in the project.

How do I know if I’m chosen for the project I applied for?
-We will send a message during the application process for all who applied in the projects. Ideally you will get the information in the beginning of February.

I was assigned to be the project manager in my team. What are my responsibilities and what is expected of me?
-Basically project manager is the contact person in cases when Demola staff or project partner needs to distribute information or devices for the team. Project managers work as producers making sure that the team sticks to the rough schedule and reports if there are any problems in the project that Demola or project partner can help with.

If I wanted to do a Demola project with a company I’m currently working in?

-Contact Demola facilitator and let’s figure out if there would be a possibility to start a Demola project with the company.

I feel I’m not competent enough for some of the projects. What is expected from me?
-Demola projects are team work. Team will solve the problems together. You don’t have to be an expert on the subject. It’s enough that you have a strong intrest in the matter. You will get support from the project partner during the project.

I’m a first year student can I take part in a Demola project?
You can participate if you are a first year student but we can't guarentee that you will get credit points from the project. Please confirm from your responsible teacher.

My intrest are mentioned in the project description but I feel my field of study is not involved in the project.
-If your intrest is mentioned it means that the project needs expertise from that area to understand the context, technology, model etc.

I don’t find a case suitable for me. Am I useless?
